Carl H. Hoeppner Dies In 71st Year
Carl Herman Hoeppner, 71, of 1221 S. Pleasant Ave. died in his home Wednesday morning following a short illness.
A native of Kansas, he had been a resident of Lodi for the past 25 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Hoeppner; the following sons and daughters, Mrs. Lillian Glantz of Stockton, Theodore Hoeppner of Colorado, and Mrs. Oletha Dacey of Long Beach; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Ray Hoeppner of Hood River, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Schneider and Mrs. Ella Schneider both of Ramona, Kan.; and four step-children, Clarence Glantz of Stockton, Mrs. Clara Sifferman of Lodi, Orlan Glantz of Elk Grove and Harold Glantz of San Diego. A son, Edwin Hoeppner, preceded his father in death.
Interment at Lodi Cemetery.
