Barbara Ann Theus, 76, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Barbara was born on May 7, 1937 in Cordele, Georgia to the late Jack Gibbs and Ola Mamie Veronia Gibbs. She attended Green Acres Baptist Church. After many years of dedicated employment, Barbara retired from the accounting department where she worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base. After retirement, Barbara loved and enjoyed traveling. She was passionate about spending time with her family and truly adored her grandchildren. Her parents, and siblings, Earl Gibbs, Cleveland Gibbs, Willie Mae Barry, John Lee Gibbs, Julia V. Brown, and Maggie Bowen, all preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice Inpatient Facility, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
