Irene M. Fichtel, 90, of Naperville, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005 at St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville, IL. She was born March 26, 1915 in Aurora, IL.
Irene was a member of NAIM Society through Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
She is survived by four children, Karen (Robert) Saar of Edwards, CO, Don (Susan) Fichtel of Aurora, Jim (Deanna) Fichtel of Oswego, and Nancy Plzak of Indian Head Park, IL; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris (Harrison) Giertz of Elgin and Helen (Doug) French of Albuquerque, NM; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; her daughter, JoAnne Fichtel; her son, Terry Fichtel; her parents, Mary and Michael Haas; and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Pauline) Haas.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 5, 2005 at 10:00am at St. Patrick's Residence. Msgr. Dalton will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning 9:00am until the funeral hour at 10:00am at St. Patrick's Residence, 1400 Brookdale Rd., Naperville, IL 60563.
