Dallas L. Krausbauer, 73, 2102 S. Beacon St., died Thursday at his home. He was in an auto accident near Mount Summit in 1963 and has been in failing health since that time. He was a native of Modoc and had been a Muncie resident since 1964, moving here from New Castle. He was a 1925 graduate of Modoc High School.

Mr. Krausbauer was formerly employed at Broderick Corp. for 22 years prior to his retirement in 1967. He was also a former employee of Chevrolet in Muncie for 11 years. He was a die maker by trade and a former president for two terms of that organization's local. He was a member of the Brotherhood and Sisterhood at New Castle.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Ann (Ruberg) Krausbauer; one sister, Mrs. Nora K. Jones of Franklin, Ind.; two nieces and three nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the family plot at Tomlinson Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 9 p.m. today or prior to the funeral Saturday.
