With her husband, Miguel Rodriguez, aged 60 years, living in Madrid, was seized by four Franciscan friars, and consigned to the flames at an auto-da-fe held in Madrid in the year 1632, which is described by a contemporary as one of the most brilliant and remarkable spectacles ever witnessed, enacted in the presence of the king, queen, and representatives from all foreign courts.

The couple were proprietors of a synagogue situated in the street de las Infantes.

The Holy Office razed the temple to the ground, and in the place, where afterwards a cloister was erected, set up an inscription as an eternal memorial.
