Mr. Kaeberle worked in various positions for the Postal Service before he retired in January 1988 after 23 years service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Kaeberle was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and was active in parish activities.
Survivors include four brothers, Herbert James Kaeberle, Overland Park, Kenneth Eugene Kaeberle, Independence, Mo., Bernard Lloyd Kaeberle, Topeka, and John Adam Kaeberle, Kansas City, Mo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Kaeberle will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited at 7 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Council No. 534 at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church, 1114 W. 10th.
