Clyde M. Turner graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Civil Engineering and was in the ROTC. Prior to attending UF, Clyde graduated from St. Petersburg FL High School circa 1932-33.
He served in the European Theatre during WWII as a Army Captain promoted to Major then Lt. Col.
Clyde had two older brothers:
Junior Frank Turner-Owner of J.F. Turner Printing Co., St. Pete and was a Navy SeaBee (Electrician) in W W II for two years.
