Born in Clay Township, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Williams and Marjorie Smith Williams.
Mrs. Dura was a member of the Catholic Church of the Infant Jesus in Marion, SC.
Surviving are two sons, Edward Gregory of Richmond Hill, GA, and Stan Dura and his wife Neil of Eugene, OR; two daughters, Ginger Darnell of Brunswick, GA, and Marjorie "Boots" Hodges of Ocala, FL; two step-sons, Jon Dura of Bartlett, IL and James Dura and his wife Peggy of Sumter; two step-daughters Cathy McLain and her husband Bob of Rolling Meadows, IL and Celeste Emerick of Chicago, IL; a brother, Horace Williams and his wife Mildred of Hinesville, GA; and two sisters, Flora Jean Carpenter and her husband Bobby of Richmond Hill, GA and Nancy Nixon and her husband Jack of Chattanooga, TN, as well as numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Hodges, III; two step-daughters, Christina Overby and Connie Lewis; and a brother, Smith "Smitty" Williams.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Marion, SC under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home.
