Brenda Kay Stone, 70, passed away on April 26, 2013 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Brenda was born to Jess and Rosie Stone, in West Virginia on November 4, 1942. Brenda received her certification for tractor-trailer driving in October, 1987. She went on to receive her certification as a beautician. Brenda worked as a long haul truck driver for JB Hunt and Sunflower Carriers. She enjoyed driving semi's, spending time with her family, and fishing.
Brenda is survived by sons Robert (Deborah) Tincher, II; Timothy (Stacey) Tincher; Basil (Gloria Lyons) Tincher; daughter Charman(Stephen)Herter; brother Van Hicks; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren (includes step) and other family and friends. Brenda is preceded in death by parents, Jess and Rosie Stone; and a sister Betty Bridenbaker.
Visitation will be held at 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Gramkow Funeral Home, located at 500 East Airport Blvd, Sanford, FL. The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Paola Wesleyan Church, 5650 Wayside Dr., Sanford, FL. Reverend Leonard O'Donnell will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Sylvan Lake Cemetary.
