Lonnie attended schools in Tebbetts and New Bloomfield Mo, throughout his life he was employed in New Bloomfield and Jefferson City by Bill Yancey Farms Meadow Lake Country Club, Memu Maker Food, Callaway Hills Stables and Capital Plaza Hotel. Lonnie retired from Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He raised Polled Hereford Cattle and registered American Quarter Horses and was a member of the Lions Club. Lonnie loved his Guide Dog for the Deaf for 15 years, Millie.
Along with his wife of 36 years , Pamela, he is survived by several cousins.
Friends will be received fro 11a.m. to 1p.m. Thursday April 3, 2014 at the Houser Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at 1p.m. with the Rev. Lewis Curtis officiating, Interment will follow at Dry Fok Baptist Church Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Dry Fork Baptist Church.
