After several weeks serious illness Henry V. Ruehl, 77, died at his residence on Thanksgiving morning. Mr. Ruehl retired several years ago after being in the blacksmith business here for over a half century.
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the First Christian Church with Rev. O. J. Gilbert officiating and Moss-Service directing interment in the City cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, to whom he had been married 54 years; three daughters, Miss Dovie Ruehl and Mrs. R. D. Blanton both of Cullman, Mrs. W. B. Monroe of Anniston; one son, Homer Ruehl of Cullman; two grand children and one great grand child.
