MRS. GERTRUDE MARR: - Mrs. Gertrude Marr, wife of the late Elmer Marr, 200 Humboldt Pkwy., Port Colborne, died in Port Colborne General Hospital Sunday in her 83rd year. Born in Moulton Twp., county of Haldimand, she was the daughter of the late Ruben and Amanda Minor. She had lived in Port Colborne for nearly 40 years. Mrs. Marr is survived by four sons, Lloyd, Kenneth, Norman (Pete) and Raymond Marr, all of Port Colborne and her grandson Robert Cochrane whom she raised. There are 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a daughter Mable in 1947 and a son Murray in 1963. Mrs. Marr is resting at the Port Colborne Chapel of Davidson Funeral Homes, 135 Clarence St., where the service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Wainfleet.
