MARR, Dorothy Jane (nee Stresman) - Of Northland Pointe passed away with her family at her side on Friday May 26, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Marr (1989) and Simon Vethaak (2001), loving mother of Jeffrey Marr of Welland and Jayne (Charles) McChesney of Port Colborne, dear grandmother of Andrew and Adam McChesney, sister of Ethel (Albert) Marinelli of Lindsay and Kenneth (Shirley) Stresman of Saginaw, Michigan, sister-in-law of Beulah Wilson of Dunnville. Besides her husbands she was predeceased by her parents Fredrick and Ida Stresman and her brother Edwin Stresman. Born in Sherkston, she has lived in this area all of her life. Dorothy was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and was a member of the ladies bowling league in Port Colborne. Mrs. Marr's family will receive visitors at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES 135 Clarence St. on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Wednesday May 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Makey officiating.
