COOKEVILLE — Funeral services for Robert Trent "Rob" Riddle, 55, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 4, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home in Cokeville. Burial will follow in Algood City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. today, Thursday, April 3, at the funeral home.

"Rob" passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in Vanderbilt Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 23, 1958, in Monterey to the late Robert Ray Riddle and Stella Stevens McCormick Riddle.

Mr. Riddle was a member of Living Hope Church and was an inspiration to many by his faith in Christ. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed fishing as well as hunting.

"Rob" is survived by his wife, Paula Farmer Riddle; one daughter, Christina Rae Riddle (Chadrick) Rice of Cookeville; one grandchild, Elaina Lucille Rice of Cookeville; three sisters, Doris Brown, Margaret (Grey) Dunn and Karen (Ronnie) McCloud, all of Cookeville; one brother, Tim (Lesley) Riddle of Cookeville; two nephews, Joshua Scott and Michael Pippen; and a special brother and fishing partner, Phil Brown.

Mr. Riddle was preceded in death by his father, Ray Riddle and stepmother, Lilly Riddle; his mother, Stella McCormick and stepfather, Charles McCormick; and a brother, Ray "Sauce" Riddle.

Pallbearers will be Rob's special friends and brothers in Christ, Phil Brown, Josh Scott, Dennis Driller, Chadrick Rice, Kenny Burchett, Michael Pippin, Jacob Olson, James Stewart and R.J McCloud.

Bro. Ron Allen will officiate at the services.
