Mario joined the Air Force at the age of 17, served in Vietnam and retired after 20 years of service. He was always very proud to be an American. Mario also had a love of all animals, especially dogs. He was a member of the San Diego Wild Animal Park. His family remembers his love of camping, fishing, being outdoors but his greatest passion was food!
He is survived by his wife Ladda Villarreal; sons, Mario Villarreal Jr, Luis Villarreal, Urit Villarreal and Prachern Villarreal; brothers, Roque Villarreal Jr, Baldemar Villarreal II and Victor Villarreal; sisters, Guadalupe Elder, Sylvia Vela, Margarita Hernandez, Patricia Zahra, Matilde Villa, Julia Kramer and 2 grand children.
He was proceeded in death by his brother, Baldemar Villarreal. He will truly be missed.
