DONALD LOUIS LEMKE

Donald "Donnie" Lemke, age 76, of 1202 34th St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, 2005 at his residence.

Donnie was born Oct. 20, 1929, in the town of Pella, son of the late Louis and Lucille (Prellwitz) Lemke. He graduated from Clintonville High School on May 26, 1948. On April 30, 1949, he married Eileen Bork in Dupont. She preceded him in death on May 5, 1994. Donnie was a cheese maker by trade operating factories in Pella and Randolph. In 1962, he moved his family to Two Rivers and obtained employment with the Mirro Corporation until his retirement in 1991.

Donnie is survived by three daughters; one son and one son-in-law: Kathryn Adair, Two Rivers; Dale Lemke, Valders; Susan Lemke, Two Rivers; Lori (Mike) Redeker, Cato; five grandchildren: Tammy (Dana) Thielbar, Two Rivers; Jeffrey (Gretchen) Adair, Mishicot; Jodi Severson, Two Rivers; Jason Adair, Two Rivers; Karisa Lemke, Shoto; three great-grandchildren: Cavon, Kobe, and Teigan; two brothers and one sister: Carol (Bill) Druckrey, Oshkosh; Leroy (Betty) Lemke, Florida; Gerald (Shirley) Lemke, Wausau; and his little dog C.P. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, mother and a father-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kim Henning. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

In his lifetime, Dad enjoyed music, occasionally playing the accordion and organ, dancing a good polka, fishing and camping and his little dogs. We love you daddy, we will miss you, we'll send you your love letters to Heaven.
It is believed he died of heart failure.
