OBITUARY
Mrs. Martin Kane, the former Una Ralston of Maquoketa and Westside, died Saturday, January
21, in Mercy Hospital at Council Bluffs.
Services were held January 24th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Avoca, lowa and burial in Graceland Cemetery in Avoca. Father Joseph Schulte was celebrant.
Pallbearers were Cliff Anderson, Henry Smith, Halver Marten, James Croghan, Peter Croghan, and Andy Jensen. Miss Margaret Burke was organist.
Mrs. Kane was born Una Katharina Regennitter on January 29, 1916, at Washta, Iowa. She received her education in Quimby, Iowa. In 1935 she was married to Francis S. Ralston of Maquoketa.
They lived in eastern Iowa and later moved to Westside, Iowa, where Mr. Ralston died in 1949.
In 1955, she was married to Martin V Kane and moved to Oakland, lowa where she resided.
Mrs. Kane has been ill the past years with a heart ailment.
Surviving with her husband, Martin, are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Francis Killeen of Canoga Park, California, son Sgt. Eugene Ralston, of Council Bluffs Iowa; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Regennitter of
Washta, Iowa; two brothers, Kenneth Regennitter of Atalisa, Iowa, Glen Regennitter of Oxford Jct., Iowa; grandmother, Mrs. Lena Kaus of Holstein, Iowa, and three grand children Denise, Scott and Patrice Killeen.
