Carl Eugene Baker, age 85, husband of Wanda Lucille (Pennington) Baker of Old Whitley Road, London, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at V A Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Michael Eugene Baker and wife Nina of London. The grandfather of Derek Baker and wife Misti, and Brent Baker and wife Danielle all of London. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lula (Bruner) Baker; by three brothers, Virgil, Farris, Bobby Baker; by one sister, Sudie McKnight. Funeral services for Carl Eugene Baker will be conducted Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Evangelist Derek Baker and Evangelist Barry Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Wiggington Cemetery with the local DAV in charge of military honors. The family of Carl Eugene Baker will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until service time on Saturday, April 12, 2014.
