Shreveport, LA - Graveside funeral services for Joseph Burton LaCaze, 82, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2006 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hall Summit, LA.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Avenue, Shreveport, LA

Mr. LaCaze, a resident of Shreveport, LA., was born May 14, 1923 in Natchitoches, LA. and passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 in Shreveport, LA. He was a wonderful and generous man who loved his family and had a passion for nature and the outdoors. He found joy in designing bird houses and working outside in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gracie Mae Rains.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Wayne LaCaze and his wife Dell, Robert Charles LaCaze and his special friend Jackie, Paul ROger LaCaze and his wife Deb and Jerry Lewis LaCaze and his wife Cindy; daughters Edith Ray Johnson and Gracie Elaine Manning and her fiance' Donald Griffin; sister, Frances Howard; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Donald Griffin, Paul Nixon, John Woodard, Michael Brown, Eddie Brown and Jackie Williamson.
