Alexander Kaberline, 46, died yesterday in a Topeka hospital as the result of being struck by a motorcar on North Kansas Avenue Saturday night.
Officers said he stepped from between two parked cars into the path of the motorcar. He was the seventh person who was fatally injured in motorcar accidents in Topeka in 1944, Al Mader, traffic lieutenant said.
Born August 22, 1898 in Topeka, he was a lifetime resident here.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. George Kaberline; three brothers, George, home; John, Chicago; and Peter, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Adam Desch, Los Angeles; and Mrs. Emma Shield, Chicago.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church. Friends may view the body at Brennan's Funeral Home from 2 to 10 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
