Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 am at Carr Memorial Christian Church with the Rev. Penny Ziemer officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.
Born in 1947 in Cumberland County, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late John Holt and Faires Warwick Tyner. She was a dedicated member and former Sunday School Teacher at Carr Memorial Christian Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a housewife and farmed alongside her husband for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Jackson; one son, Randy Jackson of Clinton; one daughter, Amanda J. McLamb and husband, Scott of Clinton; two grandchildren, Mikayla McLamb and Jackson McLamb both of Clinton; one brother, Doug Tyner and wife, Shirley of Clinton; one sister, Barbara Hope and husband, Billy of Clinton; sister-in-law, Marie Tyndall and husband, Nelson of Clinton; one brother-in-law, Theodore "Bud" Parker and wife, Sue of Wilmington and many friends and her church family.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Armon Tyner.
