Kurt Herman Otte was born Nov. 6, 1930, at Leigh to Karl F. and Minna (Otte) Otte. He graduated from Wayne High School. Kurt served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 until 1955. Kurt married Bonnie Cadwallader June 29, 1951, at Wayne. They lived their entire married life in Wayne except during Kurt’s service years. Kurt was co-owner and building contractor of Otte Construction Company in Wayne. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne. Kurt is survived by his wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Liz (Tom) Hagmann of Wayne; a grandson, Nick Hagmann of Omaha; brothers, Heinz (Barbara) Otte of Mendota Heights, Minn., Allen (Annette) Otte of Minneapolis, Minn., and Paul (Ginny) Otte of Wayne; a sister, Elaine Moje of Arvada, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Ardath Otte of Wayne; and nieces and nephews. Kurt was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; a sister; a sister-in-law; and a nephew.
