NAMPA — Graveside services for Thomas David Huth, 95, formerly of 1715 First Street South, Nampa, who died Tuesday in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hillcrest Cemetery by the Rev. Paul J. Flynn, St. Paul's Catholic Church. Cortege will leave the Alsip Chapel at 10:15 a.m.

He was born Sept. 15, 1881, in Socorro, N.M., where he was reared and attended school. He began working when he was 16, with the D. and Rio Grande Railroad. As a young man he moved to Pocatello where he married Gertrude Ellis, in 1906.

He started working for the Union Pacific in Pocatello and later retired as a roundhouse foreman for the company in Nampa. She died in 1908. He later married Isabella Bain in 1912 at Salt Lake City, Utah. They lived in Nampa for more than 40 years. She died Dec. 7, 1971.

He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold Badcon, Seattle; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Tiger" Huth, and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the chapel today and until 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
