Ellinor F. Menn, a resident of Granbury, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Granbury. She was born August 30, 1919 in Kingsville to Edmund Fels and Marie Gerdes Fels. Mrs. Menn was a secretary for the Kingsville Independent School District for over 40 years until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Menn was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert "Pump" Menn; three sisters, Elvira Haverlah, Anita Menn and Oletha Cumberland; two brothers, Alvin Fels and Melvin Fels.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanie (Larry) Richter of Pflugerville, Texas and Dorothy (Chuck) Still of Granbury; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 401 West King Street, Kingsville. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
