Suggested edit: Frank Schlemmer’s first wife was Henriette Emma Dannhaus, b. 1-26-1887, d. 8-6-1920. They were married in Fort Bend County, Texas on 10-16-1919. Emma died ten months later of ovarian cancer, at the age of 33.

Washington County records show that Frank married Emma’s sister-in-law Helene Lena Walther Dannhaus on 5-25-1921, ten months after Emma’s death. The disposition of this union is unknown; Lena died 9-21-1953.
