Mary Ann Over of New Bethlehem, RD 1, passed away at 8 P. M. at her home from the effects of chronic myocarditis. She was the widow of Francis U. Over and a housewife. Her parents were Thomas D. Hugus and Elizabeth Caroline (maiden name not given). Burial was listed as in Curllsville. She was 79 yrs, 7 mos and 2 days of age. Informant was Merle H. Lerch.

Mrs. Mary Ann Over, correspondent of the Derrick Publishing Co. and The Clarion Republican, and former correspondent of the Leader-Vindicator, died February 2, 1948 at her home near Curllsville. She was a daughter of Thomas and Caroline Thompson Hugus and was born in Licking township, June 30, 1868. She married F. U. Over who preceded her in death. Mrs. Over has been an active member of the M. E. church and Sunday school for years and until her health would no permit such activities. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Lerch and Theona Over of Porter township, a sister, Mrs. Della Snyder of Williamsburg and two granddaughters, Shirley and Genevieve Lerch. Services were held February 5 at 2:00 P.M. in the Curllsville M. E. church, with the Rev. Lloyd Chelton, assisted by Rev. A. J. Renwick, in charge, Interment was in the church cemetery.

D., Curllsville correspondent of the Derrick Publishing Co., since October, 1930, and former correspondent of The Leader-Vindicator, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1948, in her home. She was born June 30, 1868, in Licking township, Clarion county. Her husband, Frank Over, died five years ago. Mrs. Over was a member of the Curllsville Methodist church. Surviving are two daughters, Theona Over and Mrs. Merle Lerch of New Bethlehem, R. D. She made her home with the latter. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Shirley and Genevieve Lerch and a sister, Mrs. Della Snyder of Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Curllsville Methodist church with the pastor, the Rev. Lloyd Chelton, in charge. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
