WILLIAM JOHN "Bill" PANSKY, beloved husband of Florence Pansky of Lethbridge, passed away surrounded by his family at the Hospital in Lethbridge on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the age of 88 years.

Bill was born in Radosina, Slovakia on October 25, 1925, Bill immigrated to Canada in May of 1934 with his mother, brother
and sister to join his father. They travelled from Montreal across Canada by train to Pincher Creek, then settled at Pincher Station.
He joined the Calgary Highlanders Army Unit in 1944. He served his
country in continental Europe.
October 14, 1950, he married Florence Alexander. Dad was the
original handyman. No home project was beyond his skill level. He was generous with his time and each family member felt special.

Bill is survived by his wife Florence (married 63 years); his five children, his two brothers; 11 grandchildren
and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents: John and Katrina, sisters:
Annie and Mary, brothers: Les and John, one niece Connie and one
nephew Kelly.

A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 at
OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH. Interment was held at Fort Macleod prior to the service.
