Mr. Seyfried was formerly employed at Oscar Winski Co., retiring a number of years ago due to failing health. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of Hope Chapel Presbyterian Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda (Mrs. William) Hull, Brenda (Mrs. William) Wendling, both of Lafayette, and Shirley (Mrs. Lawrence) Gunckle of Martinsville; a son, Lawrence Seyfried, Jr. of Rensselaer; two brothers, Thomas Seyfried of Lafayette and Paul Seyfried of Mission City, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Woods of Lafayette and Mrs. Barbara Shelby of Attica; and eleven grandchildren. Service Oct. 2, Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, the Rev. Donald E. Howitz officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
