FORMER IOWA FARMER PASSED AWAY IN OMAHA

Miss Christine Grobmeier has returned from Omaha, where she was called by the fatal illness of her father, Joseph Grobmeier, who died Saturday, March 10, of pleural pneumonia.

Mr. Grobmeier was born in Germany in 1858 and came to America as a young boy. He lived on a farm in Shelby county for 40 years, retiring from farm work in August, 1926, when he moved to Omaha with his family.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard's church, Benson, March 12, and interment was made in the Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
