Ralph Calvin Hughes, age 80, of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 14, 2008 at Bristol Nursing Home.
He was born August 27, 1927 in Washington Co., VA, a son of the late Winfred and Laura Andis Hughes.
He lived his life in the Benhams area. He was a member of Benhams Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Donna Hayden and husband David, Kathy Bentley and husband Ray, Linda Thomas and Penny Shipp
12 Grandchildren, 10 Great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 12:30 P.M. at Sugar Grove Union Church with Rev. Charles Sherfey officiating.
The burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts appreciated for help with final expenses.
