Harold L. Myers, age 61 of Grouse Road Fort Loudon, PA died at 12:18 PM Friday, May 2, 2014 in his home following a one year illness.

Born September 16, 1952 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Melvin Myers and Cora (Horst) Myers Knepper. He married Sharon D. Shaw Myers on July 2, 2011.

Harold had been employed at Brechbill And Helman Construction Co. Chambersburg for 35 years and last worked for JLG.
He was a 1972 graduate of Chambersburg High School. Harold was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and cars.

Surviving family in addition to his wife are one son Joshua D. Myers and his wife Elizabeth of Greencastle, four grandchildren Jonathan, Kiersten, Jerry, Austin, one brother Nelson Myers and wife Cindy of Chambersburg and one sister Gladys Besecker and husband Paul of Marion, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 8 at 7:00 PM from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Dean Gearhart officiating. There will be no public viewing but the family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Thursday.
