Daniel Watson Weaver III, 53, of the 2600 block of Sportsman Blvd., went to be with the Lord Nov. 15, 2005, in Richmond, Va. A native of DeKalb, Ga., he was a mechanic at PWC Transportation Dept. at NOB, Norfolk. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Betty Blankenship Weaver; two daughters, Debra Franklin and husband William and Dana Kleiber and husband John, both of Portsmouth; a son, Leonard "Lynn" Young Jr. and wife Tina of Suffolk; two sisters, Linda Sedberry and husband Les and Dottie Sedberry and husband Kenny; a brother, Steve Weaver; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
