DEDDENS - William J., 72, of Carmel, IN, formerly of Orlando, FL died Wednesday, August 3, 2005. He was born October 6, 1932, in Louisville, KY, to the late Herman & Lucille Borgimier Deddens. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and graduated from Bellarmine University, Louisville. He retired after 32 years of employment with Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where he was a member. Calling will be an hour prior to the service at church and Sunday, August 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Carmel. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Elizabeth M. Deddens; children, Christopher of Blue Earth, MN, Kimberly of Orlando, FL, Eric (Toni) of Carmel; grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel, and Elizabeth of Carmel; brother, Kenneth Deddens; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Ava Maria University in Miami, FL or Legionnaires of Christ, Cheshire, CT.
