FORT WORTH - Douglas P. Loesch, 52, a leather craftsman, died Sunday at home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Lakeside. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 9 tonight at Biggers Funeral Home in Lake Worth.
Douglas Loesch was born Oct. 17, 1943, in Norfolk, Va. He was a self-employed leather craftsman and had been a Fort Worth resident since 1967. He has been associated with Lloyd Jenkins Ranch, Potts Longhorn, M.L. Leddy and was manager for Windy Ryon Saddle & Ranch Supply until 1976. He currently owns Doug's Cow Horse Supply, which specializes in manufacturing horse training equipment of cutting horses. He was a Vietnam veteran, a member of N.C.H.A., was a board member of Windy Ryon Memorial Roping and was a former board director for the North Texas High School Rodeo Association as well as the Texas High School Rodeo Association.
Survivors: Wife, Velladean Loesch of Fort Worth; sons and daughter-in-law, Todd Loesch of Fort Worth and Brad and Deborah Loesch of Azle; father, Peter Loesch of Weatherford; and sister, Diane Vaughn of Allen.
