Jean was a member of Hamlin Assembly of God Church. She was educated in North Pocono public schools and a graduate of North Pocono High School. Previously, she was employed by Ohio Casualty Group, the United States Fidelity Guarantee Co. and currently Penns Miller Insurance Co. Jean spent many years doing family geneology, which gave her the opportunity to correspond with people all over the world. Jean enjoyed spending time gardening and outdoors, playing all kinds of sports at Lake Spangenberg, especially figure skating, volleyball, baseball and softball.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving are two sons, Benjamin Santoro and wife, Nicole, Scranton, and Vinson Santoro, Old Forge; a brother, Robert Spangenberg, Pohoa, Hawaii; three sisters, Donna O’Hara and husband, Thomas, Sarasota, Fla., Shirley Spangenberg, Harding, and Victoria Metschulat and husband, William Sr., Madison Township; three grandchildren, Madison, Bradley and Benny Santoro; and two nieces, Adrienne Spangenberg, Scranton, and Leslie Gilgallon, Dickson City.
Funeral service were held in the Assembly of God Church, Hamlin, by the Rev. Gordon J. White, pastor. Entombment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
