Donald Tretsch, 58, of RD 7, Fulton, died Friday in Houston, Texas, after a long illness. He was a life resident of Fulton. He was a slitter operator at Sealright for 35 years. Mr. Tretsch was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton, and was lead singer for Russels St. Andrew Country Cowboy Band. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Flinn Tretsch of Fulton; two sons, Donald Tretsch Jr. and Steven Spencer, both of Fulton; four daughters, Sheryl Gates, Barbara Emerson and Ann Tretsch , all of Fulton and Donna Whitford of Constantia; a brother, Robert of Fulton; a sister, Barbara Dubiel of Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephws. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St., Fulton, and 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Spring burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
