E. David Giese, of Loganville, passed away at the age of 66 years 10 months 18 days on Friday, May 16, 2014, at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City. He was born on June 28, 1947, in Reedsburg, the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Hineman) Giese.
Dave was a graduate of Weston High School. He worked at Berning Implement in Reedsburg for several years.
In 1976, he and his brother, Bob, began farming together on the family farm. Dave enjoyed welding, working in the shop on the farm and his Allis-Chalmers machinery. He was proudest plowing and disking on the D-21.

Interment will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Loganville.
