THEY WERE FROM EDINA

LAURA LOUISBY AND ALBERT WERNER MARRIED AT GALESBURG.

Galesburg, June 16—The home of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Flint was the scene of a very quiet but most impressive wedding ceremony Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, when Miss Laura Louisby and Albert C. Werner, both of Edina, Mo., were made husband and wife.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. S. Barnett, pastor of the Christian church of this city.

The bride was attired in a beautiful traveling suit of golden tan and made a charming appearance. She was attended by Lucile Roberta Flint, her niece, and Dana Pearl Rider of Bushnell as flower girls.

The happy couple left at once for a trip to Chicago and other points and will be at home in Edlna, Mo., after June 25th.

Mr. Werner is one of Edina's most successful business men, having owned and run a store in that city for many years.

Mrs. Werner is a sister of Mrs. Flint, and has been in Galesburg the past few months.

Thee only out of town guests were Mrs. Dr. J. C. Rider, son and daughter of Bushnell.

Mrs. Laura F. Werner's Ashes Buried

The ashes of Mrs. Laura F. Werner, who died June 24, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 81 years, were buried in Linville Cemetery here at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. A prayer was said at the graveside by the Rev. Don Gee, pastor of the Edina Christian Church. The ashes of Mrs. Werner, who was cremated after her death, were brought to Edina in a burial urn by Mrs. Werner's nephew, Earl Ashby of Denver and Mrs. Ashby.
