Minnie C. Luburgh, 102, 315 Guilford Ave., Woodsfield, formerly of 107 North Paul St., Woodsfield, died Jan. 29, 2002, in the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. She was born near Caldwell, Crum Ridge, on March 11, 1899, a daughter of the late Andrew H. and Mary Spence Needs.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ in Woodsfield.

She had enjoyed sewing and crocheting and especially enjoyed her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Ruth Camden, Woodsfield, Mrs. Charles W. (Ruby) Martin, Mrs. Edwin (Virginia) Devore, Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carlos Luburgh on Dec. 24, 1969; a daughter, Betty June Luburgh; son, James Richard Luburgh; five sisters, Dora Oldham, Iona Wharton, Pearl House,· Florence Luke, Fanchion Marker; brother Roy Weeds; grandson, James Wilbert Martin; great-great-grandson, Nathan Michael Norman; son-in-law, Robert G. "Bud" Camden.

Friends were received at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Feb. 1, where funeral services were held Feb. 2,with Sam Bartrug officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
