SARAH TOLERTON, 90, DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. Sarah Tolerton, 90, died suddenly at 6:30 p.m. yesterday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa Pflug, 2119 North Ninth street, where she had been making her home.

Coroner W.L. Dragoo, who was called to investigate the death, said members of the family told him Mrs. Tolerton had been in excellent health and had not been under a doctor's care.

Mrs. Tolerton, a resident of Springfield for 48 years, was born Oct. 17, 1855, in Sangamon county. She was the widow of Alexander Tolerton and was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving are a son, Dallas Tolerton, Dallas, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Pflug and Mrs. Sadie Oliver, both of Springfield; and Mrs. Lula May Adams, Dallas, Tex.; a brother, George Lowdermilk, Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Luaner Neher, Virden; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Vancil funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

TOLERTON - Remains of Mrs. Sarah Tolerton, 2119 North Ninth street, are at Vancil funeral home (north side) where memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Rev. H.M. Hildebrandt officiating.

Burial in West Grove cemetery.

Remains viewed 10 a.m. to time of services Thursday.
