Like his brothers, Fr. Gerald Maechler attended St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, CA, and was ordained a Catholic priest on April 27, 1955. He was assistant pastor of Incarnation parish in his home town of Glendale, and later, pastor of St. Mariana de Paredes Catholic Church in Pico Rivera, CA. Fr. Gerald is buried next to his two brothers at Holy Cross Cemetery.
