Eileen Evelyn Huff, age 90, of Albion passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 7:50 PM at North Ridge Village in Albion. She was born on January 18, 1924 to Fred and Cora (Selby) Hoeppner in Fort Wayne, IN. The family moved to Bluffton, Indiana where Eileen graduated from P.A. Allen High School. She also graduated from International Business College in Fort Wayne. On July 31, 1955, she married Karl E. Huff in Bluffton, IN and moved to York Township, Noble County on the family farm.

Mrs. Huff was a member of the Sparta United Church of Christ, the Historical Society, a past member of Tri Kappa for over 60 years, the York Center Home Extension Club, and a member of the Kimmell Mother's Club.

She is survived by her four children, Robert "Selby" (JoAnn) Gemmill of Ligonier, Steven (Anita) Huff of Ligonier, Gloria (Bill) Risk of Madison, Indiana, and Julia Dotson of Bloomington, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Joan Gemmill, Tony (Shelly) Gemmill, Melanie (Jeff) Jacob, Marissa (Zach) Brown, Matthew Huff, Brian Donovan, Carrie Donovan (Bill), Rachel Dotson, and Katie Dotson; she is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband Karl E. Huff, her parents, a granddaughter, Teresa Deese, and a grandson, Todd Gemmill.

A funeral service will be held in Mrs. Huff's honor on May 30, 2014 at 11AM at Sparta Church of Christ-2738 North US Hwy 33, Kimmell, IN 46760. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

There will be a time of visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.
