Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Bradley) Carey. She graduated from Marlborough High School and Bryant Stratton in Boston.
For many years, she was employed at the former Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital as a medical records librarian.
While a resident of Marlborough, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hudson and Marlborough Senior Center, where she was an avid bridge player.
She leaves her son, John Keyman Sr. of Mobile, Ala.; her sister, Louise Chicoine of Marlborough; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Radney Funeral Home in Mobile, Ala.
