Charles E. "Gene" Moody, 72, of Linton Indiana formerly of Bloomfield passed away at 5:30 A.M. Tuesday January 17, 2006 at Glenburn Home in Linton. Born December 20, 1933 in Dugger Indiana he was the son of Gerald & Esta (Norris) Moody. He was a Navy Veteran, & attended the Solsberry United Methodist Church. He was a self employed auto mechanic. Surviving relatives include his wife Marilyn Kay (Yoho) Moody of Bloomfield, 3 Brothers Dale & his wife Jenny Moody of Washington, Indiana, Dean Moody of Payson, AZ, & Jerry & his wife Edna Moody of Springville, Indiana. 2 Sons Rodney E. Moody & Fred & his wife Chris Moody both of California. Step-children Melanie & her husband Todd McCabe of Springville, Indiana, Mark & his wife Karen Hash of Solsberry, Indiana, Mike & his wife Barbara Hash of Solsberry, Indiana & Monte Hash of Bloomington Indiana 1 Granddaughter Alexis Moody, & 9 Step-Grandchildren. Several Nieces & Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents A memorial service will at a later date at the Solsberry United Methodist Church. Time will be made public when it is set.
