Sarah Wilson Dead at 82
A resident of this district for the past half-century, Mrs. Sarah E. Wilson died at a local hospital last night following a long illness.
She was born 82 years ago in Illinois. Recently, she has lived at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Roseberry on Turner Road. During the past few years, She visited back and forth with Mrs. Roseberry and her daughter in Williams (Colusa county). She was a member of the Christian Church.
Her husband, William H. Wilson, preceded her in death in 1923.
She leaves the following children, Mrs. Dora Brandt of Lodi, Jacob A. Wilson of Lodi, Mrs. Grace Roseberry of Lodi, William Delbert Wilson of Lodi, Fred R. Wilson of Lodi, Mrs. Helen E. Mattice of Lodi, Mervyn E. Wilson of Acampo, Mrs. Florence Rice of Williams, Mrs. Florence Green of Williams, Herbert E. Wilson of Acampo and Mrs. Edith King of Sacramento.
In addition, she was the mother of the late Benjamin J. Wilson and the late Mrs Irene Johnson. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Inez Schmidt of Sacramento; a brother, G.G. Russell of Nevada, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Lynnetta Shinn of Lodi.
Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
