His siblings were Franz (1858-1932), Maria Elisabeth (1858 -1858), Wilhelmina Josephina (1861-1926), Gertrud Elisabeth (1863-), Maria Catharina (1866-), and Ferdinand Hermann (1872-). Anton immigrated to America and settled in Covington, Kentucky and has numerous descendants.

He was born in Lohne in 1839 but passed away at the young age of 13 in Lohne. His siblings were Elisabeth Zerhusen (1834-1838), Heinrich "Henry" (1836–1916), Josephina Maria (1842–1913), a stillborn baby boy (1846-1846), and Mary Agnes (1850–1935). After the deaths of children Elisabeth in 1838, a baby boy in 1846, and Anton in 1852, and the death of their father Clemens in 1862, the remaining members of this Zerhusen family (mother Maria Elisabeth Athmann-Zerhusen (1809-1892), son Heinrich "Henry" (1836–1916), and daughters Josephina Maria Zerhusen Kolbeck (1842–1913) and Mary Agnes Zerhusen Hessmann (1850–1935) and their families immigrated to America and eventually settled in Ford County, Kansas. Whereas Heinrich did not get married, his two sisters have numerous descendants.
