Age 93, the daughter of Nunzio and Bibiana Lombardi Campana.
She was a member of Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church for over 55 years. As a member of its Ruth Circle she enjoyed working with the ladies on fund raisers and preparing church dinners.
She was married to her husband, Nihl Victor Childs, for 41 years before his death in 1982. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Michael (d 9/11/1996 in AZ) and John Campana; two sisters (1. Angelina and 2. ?), and a twin brother (John) in infancy.
She is survived by two daughters, Olivia C. Purchase and her companion, W. Wayne Nestor, of Erie and Vivian L. Childs and her companion, Mike Moyer, of Coatesville, Pa.; grandsons; great grandchildren, nieces, her former son-in-law, John Purchase and several cousins.
Interment will be at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
