She was of a very pleasing disposition and she had many close friends. Surviving her are her husband and four children, namely, Mrs. Anna Hoenke of Sheboygan; Mrs. Ida Kromer, Mrs. Emma Murchie and Karl Homan, all of Kaukauna. One sister also survives, Mrs. Charles Adams of Sheboygan but she was too ill to attend the funeral.

DIED-At the home of her daughter, Mrs. George J. Kromer, Friday, November 28, at 9:30 o'clock A. M., Mrs. Wilhemina Homan, aged 71 years, 2 months and 20 days.
Mrs. Edward Homan nee Wilhelmina Koeppen, was born at Ditzenburg, Germany, September 9, 1842. In 1875 she came to America with her mother and sister, the brothers having previously crossed the ocean. They settled at Sheboygan, where in March, 1876, she was united in marriage to Edward Homan. Later they moved to Manitowoc where Mr. Homan entered the employ of the old Milwaukee, Lake Shore & Western railway company and in 1884 followed the railway shops to Kaukauna, where they have since resided.
The deceased had enjoyed perfect health all of her life up to October, 1911, since which time she has been more or less ill. Last September Mr. and Mrs. Homan gave up house-keeping and moved to the home of their daughter, Mrs. George J. Kromer, so that Mrs. Homan could be more carefully nursed during her illness. She continued to fail, however, and on Friday last passed peacefully away.
The deceased is survived by her husband, three daughters and one son, as follows: Mrs. Anna Hoenke of Sheboygan; Mrs. George Kromer, Mrs. Vern Murchie and Chas. Homan, all of Kaukauna. Also one sister, Mrs. Chas. Adams of Sheboygan, who on account of illness was unable to attend the funeral services.
The floral tributes from friends of the family were numerous, among the principal pieces being a broken wheel from the Ladies society of the Reformed church, and floral emblems from the Rebekah Lodge, I.O.O.F., the G.I.A. lodge and the R.N. of A. Camp No. 2365.
