Funeral is Held For Resident of Vacaville
Vacaville (Solano Co.), June 25 - Funeral services for Walter Homes [Holmes] Buckingham, 59, member of an old Vacaville family, were held here at 10:30 a.m. today in the McCune Funeral Chapel.
Buckingham, born in this community, died Sunday evening following a short illness. He was associated in the fruit industry during most of his life and was a member of the Vacaville Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Ione; a daughter, Nancy Buckingham and his sons, Walter Buckingham, Jr., and Morris H. Buckingham, all of Vacaville. Also surviving are sisters and brothers in San Francisco and Berkeley.
Interment was in the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
