Herman Joseph Cavelti, 91, of Puyallup, passed away on June 13, 2014. He was born in Firwood, WA on April 2, 1923 to Joseph and Margaret Cavelti. After graduating from Sumner High in 1941, he joined the US Navy, working in the Telephone industries. A member of the Swiss Society he also belonged to the Swiss Sportsman Club of Tacoma. He is survived by his brother, Joe of Puyallup; sister, Margaret Heacock of Edgewood; two nephews; three nieces. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Al, Ernie and Michael Cavelti. There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 until the service at 11:00 at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. After the reception in the Church Hall graveside services will be held at Sumner Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Multi-Care and Life Care Center of Puyallup for the compassionate care they showed Herman.
